Bristol Cathedral Trust
Bristol Cathedral Trust is an independent charity dedicated to raising funds for the preservation of Bristol Cathedral.
Conservation
Founded in 1989, the Trust supports vital restoration and conservation projects that maintain the Cathedral’s historic integrity. Notable ongoing and completed initiatives include the restoration of the 1685 Renatus Harris/Walker organ, renovation of the West End Rose Window, refurbishment of the Cathedral bells and the Chapter House roof, upgrading the fire alarm system and heating system, and making enhancements to the café and public areas, while also improving accessibility for all.
With the support of the Fitzhardinge Society, a membership organisation focused on supporting the preservation of the Cathedral’s fabric, Bristol Cathedral Trust remains an integral part of the Cathedral’s identity, working to ensure that this precious and historic building in the heart of Bristol remains standing for future generations to visit and enjoy.
